and transfer up the Kuranda range. Wildlife expert onboard to answer
any questions you may have
We arrive at our exclusive Carrowong Fauna Sanctuary and commence
our walk into the rainforest.
After being amongst primitive old-growth rainforest, we arrive at
our enchanting rainforest gazebo where, surrounded by wildlife, we
rest, talk and drink prior to a scrumptious candlelit barbeque dinner.
Following dinner, we return to the rainforest for another walk before
departing for the Lamb Range, which is higher up in the ranges
After 25 minutes of driving we arrive at Lamb Range, a restricted
area to which Carrowong Wildlife Ecotours has exclusive permit access.
Lamb Range is open forest country and drier than the rainforest of
Kuranda, which provides the opportunity for our guests to see an assortment
of nocturnal animals using our specialised spotlighting equipment.
We stop for a brief supper and some stargazing before departing Lamb
Range.
